Here is a collection of photographs of our extraordinary English & History teacher,
Mr Tolstoy as we called him - Count Nikolai Tolstoy to be precise.

Some kindly supplied by Nikolai Tolstoy (see guestbook)

Mr Tolstoy In Lower 5th I think

Mr Tolstoy in Middle 5th

Mr Tolstoy playing football, Theo Lemos to the left

Mr Tolstoy at home

Mr Tolstoy in the playground on his last day at The Town & Country School, hence to camera. He doesn't look too sad - I wonder why!

A page from his earliest book "The Founding of Evil Hold" 50 years before J K Rowling.
He subsequently stated it was based on our school, (See Guestbook)
On the audio page of this website you can hear him reading us an excerpt. A cross between Hogwarts & St Trinians?
However I suspect he has started writing this before he came to teach at Town & Country.

Are there any other T&C works of art out there, we could put into the gallery?
